For those who don’t know what EMF stands for Electromagnetic Frequencies. They have been studied for several decades on their negative effects on our health. Google the words electro smog or dirty electricity to learn more.
With whole body vibration machines the big concern is that most of them have AC motors that aren't shielded. I have tested them and the EMF that comes out of them are in the red zone. In the last 5 years, most of the companies have switched to DC motors due to the awareness on EMF. A wristwatch has about 2mG of EMF. An electric blanket about 70mG.
I have an EMF protection sticker on my phone that I also use. (If anyone wants a free EMF protection sticker to put on their phone call me and I will send one for free). I always buy these and give them out to people that will use them and appreciate them.
If anyone is concerned about EMF and wants to know which machines have the lowest EMF ratings, let me know if that is a concern of yours. Please let me know in the comment box on my vibration quiz here.
The problem with most vibration machines is that they have very High EMF from AC motors. I am only against the AC motors that aren't shielded. The ZAAZ 20k has an AC motor but is shielded. We tested it and it was extremely low and has an AC motor. I personally don't like to be surrounded by an EMF field when I am working out.
