triplanar Whole body Vibration machine Review - Compare every major vibration exercise plate - Compare Vmax Pulser, Hypervibe G217, Powervibe, VibePlate Zaaz 20
Tri planar machines:
The triplanar machines are what I've found to be the best for working out. I do NOT promote these for bone density or lymphatic exercise. These move up and down, side to side and forward and backwards.
The three triplanar type machine I've reviewed are the PowerPlate, Powerfit, and Vibacore. The Vibacore with 2 motors is the most powerful one and way more powerful than the early generations with one motor.
The Powerfit is good but more for ligherweight people. It has less of the upward force and more of the side to side motion that requires a smaller motor. The Powerplate has the most bells and whistles and is made the most commercially for use in gyms. I would not put the other two in a gym. The Powerplate especially the ones with the air system in it are my favorite. I go to Equinox Gym and in the gyms in New York you will find the Powerplates. Also at Life Fitness in Georgia they have the Powerplate there too.
If strength training is more important to you than lymphatic and bone density, then a tri-planar might the the best option for someone looking for this.
I rate the tri-planer vibration machines into 3 categories:
Tri-Planar Mostly Vertical - Powerplate - best
Tri-Planar Some Vertical Vibacore - 2nd best
Tri-Planar Little Vertical - Powerfit - residential, 3rd best
The triplanar vibration machines came out years before the Spiral type which is known is tri-motion machines. These have 2 motors and has eliminated the jarring that people get on the Triplanars on really high accelerations.
