Amplitude Types:

There are a few things to know before picking out a machine with the right amplitude you need..
The machines range from 0 amplitude on the Vibeplate where the pulses go "through" the plate to the new Nitrofit Plus where the amplitude is 13mm, the highest you can get.

Most people get machines in the 10 to 11 mm amplitude range which is not as intense as just say the Nitrofit.

The 13mm amplitudes are more appreciated on the lowest settings, around level 1 to 5 when lymphatic drainage is the main purpose of using the machine. At high speeds, 13 mms can be brutal, I mean too jarring for most people. Most people wanting to mimic the effects of rebounding will lean back on their heels and appreciate this high displacement at 6 hertz.

The Zaaz 20K and Vmax Pulser 2, the most popular machines we carry have the least ballistic impact and are at 10 and 11mm amplitude. The Hypervibe G17 has the lowest amplitude of any machine on the market but it also goes to 35 hertz while most of the machines go to 14 to 22 hertz. Many people who really can't handle any jarring or want the least ballistic impact on their heels like the Hypervibe G17.

At 13mm amplitude the Nitrofit high acceleration/ high amplitude, this can feel super intense for those with a bad back. Unless someone is going to be doing high acceleration training workouts, this amplitude is not for everyone. Unless the average person is ONLY doing it for lymph drainage, a 13 mm amplitude is amplitude I use.

With machines that have high G force, when the amplitude is too high the ballistic impact can be too stressful on the joints. 10 to 11mm seems to be the amplitude that is easiest on the body but with just enough "pop" vs "push" balance. Other wise, if it feels too much like its popping your legs up it can feel like a jackhammer.

If someone wants simply smoothness throughout the entire amplitude, the Zaaz 20k is the most "sine wave" like. The Vmax Pulser 2 has quite a bit more "push" while the Nitrofit with 13mm has just the opposite, the pure "pop" feel.

If going for high amplitudes and you are trying to double or triple the lymph drainage that the low acceleration machines give, please read my lymphatic page. There are many precautions to take. Many people take lecithin to emulsify all the fatty acids being released. Others take Lipase. It all depends on how aggressive someone stands on the machine and how much of their weight is leaned back on their heels. See my lymphatic page here.

As most of the people coming to my site nee a machine for lymphatic drainage, the new Nitrofit Plus machine takes the best of my top selling machines like Zazz and Hypervibe and puts it into one machine. The Nitrofit has high G force but not everyone stands at 13mm. Many people don't want to stand with their legs so far apart near the edge of the plate so if they want 10 mm amplitude like the Pulser, they can stand more straight up with feet closer and get the 10mm, unlike the Pulser where to get 10mm you have to keep your feet nearly 27 inches apart. The

I like the machines with lower amplitude as long as they have the speed to back it up, such as the Hypervibe G17. The Nitrofit Plus also has the frame of the Hypervibe Performance, the model that came out before the Hypervibe G17. The older Nitrofit Deluxe that Costco made a name for it is not the one that I use. This is the earlier model. The latest model is the NItrofit plus. The older one only had 11mm and did not go to 22hertz.

For those looking mostly for exercises for their bones, I like the Hypervibe G17 and the Vibeplate the best. The Pulser is great but mostly focused on a mid range speed with a non jarring amplitude. The Zaaz with the way its patented tilt table and bearing system, the amplitude give the least ballistic impact of all the machines.

If you have a specific need let me know in priority which is the most important to you on my quiz. Make sure you let me know if bone density, lymphatic drainage, fitness, or just circulation is the first and second priority. This will really help.

Warning: When a body is already swollen with 2 to 3 times as much lymph fluid you have to be careful about a high amplitude machine.
