Vibratrim-VT500-VT400-Vibration-machine Whole body Vibration machine Review - Compare every major vibration exercise plate - Compare Vmax Pulser, Hypervibe G217, Powervibe, VibePlate Zaaz 20
Vibra-Trim VT500 / VT400 - My experience using both of these machines
The Vibratrim VT500 is the most popular spiral vibration machine along with the Vmax Pulser that is comparable. Each are slightly different than each other.
The VT500 has a 1000 watt motor for the pivotal and 300 watts for the spiral motor. The older VT400 only had a 500 watt pivotal and a 300 watt spiral. The new style with the rotary dial buttons is much heavier than the VT400 model and much quieter too. Whisper quiet instead of just quiet. The Vibratrim VT500 has a true 27 inch plate unlike the 400 model that had around a 21.5 inch plate with the skirt around it. The newer model has 11mm amplitude instead of 10 like the VT400 model. It still goes the same speed as the older model, 14 hertz but the motor is more powerful.
The Vibratrim VT500 goes down to 5 hertz for those looking to use it for lymphatic drainage. It has more push than the smaller plates that have more displacement in their tilt tables. The ballistic impact on the VT500 has very low ballistic impact. It has the low ballistic impact of just say a Zaaz 20k but with push instead of pop.
Notice: Please compare the Vmax Pulser to the Vibratrim VT500 before you buy. Many people buy one of these brands and after they get it often feel they should have gotten the other brand. Both brands are made in the same factory with slight differences. One has a 3HP motor while the other has a 2HP motor but the 2Hp motor model has a higher wattage by 100 on the pivotal and 40% more wattage on the spiral. Higher horsepower means it can handle heavier weights over 300 pounds better. The bigger motor has more push than the 2hp motor that has less copper windings and has more pop. The Vibratrim feels very powerful with heavier people but with people under 300 pounds the difference is not that noticeable. For people over 300 pounds is where the extra horsepower kicks in. The Vmax Pulser with its 500 watt spiral motor felt way stronger to me than the 300 watt motor on the VT500.
